Closing Your Account
This guide explains how to request the closure of your VerifyThisSeal.com account. All closure requests must be submitted to the support team to ensure the security and integrity of all existing records. Based on your account history, your account will either be deactivated or permanently deleted.
🛑 Important Note on Data Integrity
To protect the public trust and the validity of documents already in circulation, any seal codes you have generated can never be deleted. They must remain verifiable indefinitely. This policy is fundamental to the service we provide.
Because of this, the action taken on your account depends on your history:
- Accounts that have generated seal codes will be deactivated.
- Accounts that have never generated a seal code can be permanently deleted.
📝 How to Request Account Closure
There is no self-serve option to close your account. You must submit a ticket to our support team who will handle the process for you.
To start the account closure process, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Support page.
- Fill out the form to create a new support ticket.
- Clearly state that you wish to close your account.
- The support team will review your request and account history, then process the closure.
Once you submit the ticket, no further action is required on your part.
✅ What to Expect After Your Request is Processed
The support team will take one of two actions based on your account's history.
If you have generated seal codes in the past:
- Your account will be deactivated.
- You will no longer be able to log in, generate new codes, or access any account features.
- All existing seal codes you have created will remain active and verifiable by the public.
- Your account can be reactivated in the future by contacting support again.
If you have never generated a seal code:
- Your account and all of its associated data will be permanently deleted from our system.
- This action cannot be reversed.
📧 Email Confirmation
You will be kept informed about the status of your request.
- Our support team will send a final email confirmation to your registered email address once the process is complete. This email will clearly state whether your account was deactivated or permanently deleted.
